i think karyn can totally relate to this cartoon from my friend chris…
i do have some photos from the hospital that i did not post but took so she could look back after the drugs wore off - they won’t be going up on flickr

she’s been improving each day, though she’s still uncomfortable and always tired…
hopefully later today she’ll go back online to say hi to her friends - but for now she’s sleeping…

she’s glad to be home, still groggy and in pain but w/ her boys and dogs…
she’s got a long road to full recovery ahead of her - but lots of folks to help, and we’re thankful for that

ya - we just found out that she can go home later today…
she’s still in lots of pain & she’ll have to take it easy for 6 more weeks of course - but she’ll be so much more comfortable being in her own house w/ her boys and pets around her…

by last night karyn was feeling pretty crummy - lots of pain and tough for her to move around…
she misses being home, w/ her boys and dogs
we’re all hoping today is the last day she has to be in the hospital…
will update when i can today - mostly been focusing on getting her […]

she’s off the heavy meds, eating lightly and sitting in a chair briefly - all good day 2 progress…
she’s still in lots of pain but that’s to be expected - we’re hoping she can be feeling well enough to go home tomorrow

she didn’t sleep well and is still pretty uncomfortable today - though she is sleeping now…
she’ll be slowly coming off the meds throughout the day and trying to transition towards more movement as she’s able…
hopefully by end of day she’ll be feeling more like herself instead of so fuzzy - potent meds do that

just left the hospital - she was starting to sleep for longer periods of time and didn’t seem to be is constant distress…
given what she had to endure today, she did really well, tomorrow they hope to get her up and walking…
