testing video plugin (again)

trying the plugin that rob pointed to first – will use one of my vimeo videos for this one…
[etv]
took a little tweaking, since vimeo converts everything to flash but still gives you a way to get to the original, which is what i ended up using…

sorry for the rss churn

as w/ any new blog, the tweaks are the fun part – adding plugins and tweaking is one of the draws for wordpress…
when i added the bookmarking plugin, that republished every post (not many yet)…
then when i added the technorati tags plugin, i went back in and added appropriate tags for each post as well…

testing social bookmark plugin

this is only a test post…
also, testing technorati tag plugin…
the plugin worked fine – now need to find the right plugin to add a tag cloud to my sidebar, from there i’ll mostly likely cut down the number of categories per post and try for a more macro use of them…

mobilizing the blog

Mobilized at Awakened Voice Blog
saw this post from my friend rob, and agree w/ his perspective – making this blog available to mobile devices makes a lot of sense – the plugin was very straight forward and just appears to work…

i’m [...]

the social side of flickr & our college search

seanOriginally uploaded by glemak.
i was trolling through my flickr this morning, looking at my mosts: interesting, views, favorites and comments – one of the most compelling parts of flickr is the social interaction w/ both physical and virtual friends, its totally fascinating to me the social sphere that surrounds something as simple as a digital [...]

blogs, blogs and more blogs

i love testing new tools and platforms, it sort of comes w/ the territory when you have the background and dna that i have – plus i’m usually curious when it comes to emerging media and technology trends – some i embrace after my initial exploration, some i write off as probably ok for others [...]
